    Market insights

Price data tells you what cards sold for. Poke-Trade also sees what collectors are watching, trading, tagging, scanning, insuring and trying to buy — signals that exist because of what happens on the platform, not because of what a marketplace published.

    Live insights

Activity counts are not published yet

The underlying activity is recorded, but turning member behaviour into public leaderboards needs an aggregation and minimum-population policy first — counts drawn from a small active population can identify individual collectors. The signals and the rules they will be published under are below. We would rather show you nothing than a number we made up about our own members.

    The signals

Each one comes from a distinct part of the platform, and each answers a question price data cannot.

    Most watched

Cards added to want lists. An early demand signal — collectors watch before they buy.

    Want lists

    Most traded

Cards appearing on both sides of documented trades. Reflects liquidity between collectors rather than retail sales.

    Documented trades

    Most Smart Tagged

Cards bound to a physical Smart Tag. Collectors tag what they intend to keep and prove.

    Smart Tags

    Most scanned

Cards identified through the scanner. Captures what people are pulling and sorting right now.

    Card scans

    Most added to portfolios

Cards entering collections. Distinguishes what is being accumulated from what is merely being viewed.

    Portfolios

    Most insured

Cards appearing in insurance documentation. A direct signal of what collectors consider genuinely valuable.

    Insurance records

    Most submitted for verification

Cards routed through Poke-Trade Verification. Concentrates on high-value transactions.

    Verification

    Most requested through Buy-Now

Cards people are trying to buy outright. Demand with intent attached.

    Buy-Now

    How these will be published

Written down before any number appears, so the rules cannot be retrofitted to whatever the data happens to show.

    Aggregate only, never individual

An insight is a count across many collectors. No page will ever show what a named member owns, watches or insures.

    Minimum population before publication

A signal is only published for a card once enough distinct collectors contribute to it that no single person's behaviour can be inferred from the number.

    Activity is not price

These signals describe attention and intent. A heavily watched card is not thereby worth more, and these numbers are not a valuation.

    Stated windows

Every figure carries the window it covers. 'Most traded' means nothing without a period attached to it.
